As any regular visitors to my site probably know, I’m an avid cyclist, and have been happily bike-commuting to and from work for the past few years. In fact, every day, I give thanks that I have this opportunity – that my work isn’t too far away, or only reachable by roads to treacherous to consider cycling on. I stumbled across an article this morning with the intriguing title Does Calorie-burning Underwear Actually Work?. Who could possibly avoid reading an article with a title that amazing? Not me. No matter how busy I was – I had to drop everything to spend a few minutes reading it. My favorite line in the article? The first question is: Do they work? The answer is: Who cares? Alzheimer’s Disease – Cut Your Risk By Living Healthily

Today in the news : This week, the Lancet Neurology medical journal published the results of an extensive study into the potential prevention of Alzheimer’s disease by avoiding seven significant, yet potentially avoidable, risk factors.
