Comprehensive Core Workout #3

Posted by on Sep 25, 2015 | 0 comments

I hope you’ve all been enjoying my two 5-moves in 5-minutes core workouts (Core Workout 1 and Core Workout 2).  I’ve been doing them pretty religiously (alternating between them, for the most part) for ages.  For me, it’s not so much about having a flat stomach and killer abs (although both would be great) as having a strong core that enables me to do whatever I want to do without having to deal with lower-back pain/injuries. Dive-bombers – a fantastic addition to your home workouts

Posted by on Mar 30, 2013 | 1 comment

I was just reading a magazine, and came across this exercise (in an article on how to get gorgeous, strong, toned arms). I had totally forgotten about dive-bombers. In fact, I’d say I probably purposely put them out of my mind – because the very first time I tried them, as part of a Tabata workout, we finished off with a round of dive-bombers. His article reminds us that being overweight is not an issue limited only to women, and shows us that there is no single...

Life is busy – or at least mine is, and I rather suspect I’m not alone in that. Which is why I’m a big fan of exercises that I can do when I have a few minutes free – I’m a big ‘opportunistic’ exerciser. Heck – I get in a good hamstring-stretch pretty much every time I wash my hands at work (weird? ok, maybe a little). So, when a fellow-blogger offered to write an article about some quick, but effective, lower body exercises – most of which I can actually do AT MY DESK! – I jumped at the offer! Give some of these a try – I...

Since so many of us are trying to lose a few pounds, I was thrilled when Diane, from Classes and Careers, offered to write this article for Naturally Radiant. I found some valuable information in it, and I hope that you all will as well. Thank you, Diane! Siobhan 1. Liquid calories Sodas seem harmless, and in our busy daily lives, caffeine is king. Just one can of soda can contain 150 calories or more, depending on the drink. If you’re a regular drinker of sugary drinks, you can pack on pounds and ruin your diet before you even know it. Try replacing some – or all – of your daily...
