I’m always ready to try new things – so today, when I noticed a droopy branch on my huge aloe vera plant, I saw it as a great opportunity to use the aloe gel in a homemade facial scrub. Because I love the polished feel of my skin after scrubbing it with baking soda, I decided to combine the two – 1 tsp aloe gel, and 1 tsp baking soda. So, I cleansed my face, and then dried it off a bit, and mixed the aloe and baking soda together before scrubbing my entire face and neck (avoiding the eyes) for a few minutes. I’m sufficiently pleased with the results (I seldom apply the adjective “luminous” to my skin, but it seemed to fit quite well) that I thought I would share it with my readers.
